The Atlantic Hotel’s Executive Head Chef Mark Jordan to appear on special edition of Saturday Kitchen
Executive Head Chef of The Atlantic Hotel and Ocean Restaurant, Mark Jordan, returns to BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen for the sixth time on Saturday, 16 August for a special summer edition of the popular cookery show.
Mark will join host Chef James Martin, ‘eco chef’ Tom Hunt, and a specially invited celebrity guest live on air from 10am, when he will demonstrate one of his signature dishes, Ravioli of Jersey chancre crab which is on the menu at The Atlantic Hotel’s Ocean Restaurant.
Commenting on Mark Jordan’s latest appearance on Saturday Kitchen, Patrick Burke, owner of The Atlantic Hotel said, “We are delighted that Mark has been chosen to appear in this special summer edition of Saturday Kitchen and that he has the opportunity to promote Jersey and our wonderful produce to the nation at the height of the summer season. We couldn’t be happier that the invitation followed on from the hotel being crowned Independent Hotel of the Year at the 2014 Catey Awards.”
Discussing the show Mark said, “The timing couldn’t be better for my appearance as I’m hoping to showcase some stunning Jersey summer produce and to talk about our beautiful beaches and our wonderful seafood. The Ravioli of Jersey crab I have chosen is a firm favourite on the menu at Ocean Restaurant and is readily available to our hotel guests and loyal local diners.”
